ICSG was formed in 2018 to develop synergy between academia, industry and government towards a more sustainable world.

The 2026 conference theme will be ‘Sustainable transportation, technology and tourism’. Presentations will be held on two days in five different tracks: Education; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Tourism and Economy; Sustainability, Environment and Risk Management, and Food and Energy Security. The third day will be devoted to an interdisciplinary workshop in a boat or a beach along the Kochi coast and there will be multiple networking opportunities throughout the conference. A special characteristic of the ICSG conference is to engage participants not only from scientific backgrounds, but also from the area of entrepreneurship and administration to exchange views and develop solutions towards a more sustainable world. This approach in the past 7 conferences has allowed start-Ups to develop, international agreements to be signed and networking and best practices exchanges between universities and communities.

The three-day event consists of a conference with regular papers, lightning talks with networking discussions and a poster session marketplace, complemented by timely keynotes, research networking sessions, a half-day workshop and multi-partner project sessions. Best paper and Student Paper Awards will be given out on the third day along with the Sustainability awards. In recognition of academic, business and governing excellence, ICSG will host the grand annual Global Sustainability Awards on the 3rd day of the conference. The prestigious Global Sustainability Awards launched in 2024 will be in different sectors of the economy with the most coveted awards being the “Green University of the year”, the “Green Business of the year” and the “Green Government of the year”.

Review Process:-

Authors are encouraged to submit their latest research, use case studies and/or technological advancements aligned with the conference theme and topics of interest as an abstract or a paper. Abstracts will be peer reviewed and full papers will be Blind Peer reviewed. Accepted conference papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published in the second edition of the International Journal of Sustainable Globalization to be launched in 2026 with the goal of being indexed in Scopus / Web of Science.
